Women's Health

19th February 2008

This is a 3 week course, of 2 hours per session, discussing women's health. Participants will learn about Women's Health issues including Breast and Cervical cancer. It is an interactive course where there will be discussions on the benefits of breast and cervical screening, how to look out for changes and what happens when you are called for breast screening or a smear test. This is a useful course for all women, however parents of Year 9 girls, who are now receiving vaccinations for Cervical cancer may find this course particularly useful. Teenage girls may also find this course beneficial.

This course is free of charge, with the time and venue to be confirmed. Please contact Paula at SLIG for more information and to register. All women from both Suffolk and Lenadoon are very welcome.
